Giro d'Italia 2012 in Denmark



Giro d'Italia, the world's toughest cycling race, stops by Denmark in 2012. From May 5-7, Herning and Horsens host the first three stages of the Giro d'Italia.

On Saturday 5th May, Herning will host the amateur race ”Giro d’Italia – Cycling for all”. The race takes place on parts of the official route used for the first and second stages of the Giro d’Italia Start 2012.

Rent a bicycle

You can rent a bicycle at a number of places in Denmark. Local tourist offices and cycle shops let bicycles at a cost of from approx. DKK 40 a day, or DKK 150-400 a week. Deposit payment may be imposed. The bicycles will normally be of good quality.
