Hotel Villa Strand is located north of CopenhagenA unique Jewish option for the summertime is the traditional seaside hotel of Hotel Villa Strand. Hotel Villa Strand is located only 40 minutes drive from the center of Copenhagen, and 10 minutes drive from the city of Elsinore which is connected by shuttle ferry to Sweden. Right at one of Denmark’s most popular beaches, Hornbæk Beach, and only a few minutes walk from the harbor, shops and a wide selection of various restaurants, Hotel Villa Strand offers glat kosher kitchen from June 1 until the end of August. Please note that bookings must be made some time in advance as this popular hotel offers only 16 rooms. There is a summer synagogue nearby.
Enjoy Danish fishDanes love good food and no place in Copenhagen are you more than 5-10 minutes from a café or restaurant. Though none of them are kosher, except the MT Café at the Jewish Community Center which is only open for special events/catering, Danish cuisine includes many pareve options. Copenhagen boasts a number of very good vegetarian and fish restaurants.

Copenhagen Kosher & Deli have fresh meat, homemade sausages and cold cuts, and a various selection of daily products for the household. The shop also deliver a small selection of catering upon requests for hotels in the city. Open Tuesday to Thursday from 9 am-5 pm and Friday from 8 am-2 pm.

For Kosher meals delivered to your hotel, or to take part in a Shabbat dinner, you can also contact the tour provider Jewish Copenhagen.
 
ChabaDenmark, the Chabad-Lubavitch community of Copenhagen, also offers catered kosher meals and Shabbat hospitality.

During the summer, the restaurant at the seaside Hotel Villa Strand, about 40 minutes from Copenhagen, serves glat kosher kitchen.
